Komi and the Crimea develop friendship
On August 1, prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed by Head of the Republic of Komi Sergey Gaplikov and Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov. The working meeting was held in the city of Simferopol.
Sergey Aksyonov welcomed Sergey Gaplikov on Crimean land, emphasizing that relations between the Republic of Crimea and the Republic of Komi are developing systematically and dynamically.
In return, the Head of the Republic of Komi thanked for the invitation and noted that one of the main areas of cooperation between the republics is the organization of recreation for Komi residents in health resorts of the Crimea.
On behalf of the Head of the Republic of Komi, the development program for the Northern Lights sanatorium in the Crimean city of Saki was approved. The sanatorium is included in the "Development of medical services export" federal project within the "Healthcare" national project, as well as in the "Demography" national project, which will provide the sanatorium participation in off-seasonal projects funded from extrabudgetary sources. This year, new medical equipment has been partially purchased. As part of a working trip to the Republic of Crimea, Sergey Gaplikov inspected the planned activities within the framework of the sanatorium development.
