Sergey Gaplikov and Artyom Pidnik discussed issues of grid assets consolidation
The working meeting of the Head of the Republic of Komi and the Director General of IDGC of the North-West was held on November 21 in Syktyvkar. During the meeting, the key areas for improving reliability of consumers’ power supply and issues of the affiliation readiness to operate in maximum loads mode were also considered.
The head of the electric grid company noted that Komienergo affiliation had successfully passed a two-stage test of winter readiness. The readiness passport to operate in the heating season of 2018/2019, issued on November 14 by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation to IDGC of the North-West confirmed this.
During the meeting, the question of regional grid facilities consolidation was discussed. The consolidation is being done within the signed agreement between the power industry experts and the Government of Komi.
In 2018, Komienergo affiliation successfully consolidated grids in Vorkuta railway area, Mondi SLPK network and regional complex of PJSC Megafon. The present day task is to create a single electric grid complex in Usinsk with a single responsibility on the basis of IDGC of the North-West, which will settle the issue of accidents in the city power network.
Artyom Pidnik suggested further work with regional authorities. “The consolidation of electric grid is aimed at improving the power supply reliability to consumers. The climatic conditions differ in various areas of Komi, and the power system has its peculiarities. Therefore, it is of utmost importance for us to ensure a single responsibility centre for high-quality and reliable power supply in the region that meets the actual high standards and requirements of Rosseti Group of Companies,” the Head of IDGC of the North-West noted.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed the financial discipline of some large consumers for supplied power and tariff questions.
