VALERY KYURSHIN
Valery Kyurshin was born on 27 October 1952 in Leningrad. He is Russian by nation.
He has gone into higher education. In 1975 he graduated from Leningrad Water Transport Institute with a degree in ship-building and ship-repairing.
In 2006 he graduated from the Komi Republic Academy of Civil Service and Management under the Head of the Republic of Komi with a degree in jurisprudence.
1975: Design Engineer, Nevsky Ship-Building Yard;
1975-1976: military service;
1977: Foreman, Dock and Navigation Section, Leningrad Ship-Repair Yard;
1977: service in internal affairs agencies, Saint-Petersburg;
1994: service in federal tax police bodies, Saint-Petersburg;
2004: Adviser to the Head of the Republic of Komi;
October 2004: Representative of the Republic of Komi in the North-Western Region of the Russian Federation.
On 17 February 2011 Valery Kyurshin was appointed Representative of the Republic of Komi in the North-Western Region of the Russian Federation by the Order of the Head of the Republic of Komi.
He has been awarded the Good Conduct to the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs Medals III, II; the Tax Police Service Medals I, II, III; the Badge of Tax Police Honourary Officer and the Badge of Merit for the Republic of Komi.
